Yes. At this time Dominican Republic’s beaches throughout the country are open and ready to be enjoyed responsibly. The use of face masks is optional for adults, and not recommended for children.

Beach chairs, umbrellas and cabanas will be at least 6.5 feet (2 meters) apart and will be cleaned between each use and they will be spaced out to guarantee appropriate physical distance.

In addition to the above, we are asking tourists and our in-country tour operators to continue to maintain social distancing, proper hygiene, safety measures and to carefully follow the protocols as outlined by the Commission while traveling and exploring throughout Dominican Republic.

All aquatic equipment – such as  life jackets, snorkels, kayaks, pedal boats and bananas – should be disinfected after each use.
